Bordeaux Rose, AOC -Rose Wine
Purchased by industrialist Tom Sullivan in 2016, he has continued the tradition of organic farming at this Right Bank chateau.
"I (Tom) was attracted to Château Auguste primarily due to its outstanding terroir," Sullivan told Wine Spectator. The 74- acre Bordeaux Superieur estate is organically farmed and produces about 16,000 cases a year. "Over the past decade or so the current owner [Steven Meijer] (who will remain as a consultant) has mastered the sensitivities of organic farming while maintaining strong production volumes, allowing us take over a vibrant and healthy vineyard free of pesticides and chemical treatments."

Very pale vivid pink. Vibrant, mineral-accented strawberry, red currant and tangerine scents carry a suave floral overtone. Racy, precise and light on its feet, offering tangy red berry flavors and a bracingly beautiful minerality. Lithe and pure, with no excess weight but plenty of flavor depth. Closes stony and fresh displaying excellent clarity and persistence.
